In our opinion it made the south very prosperous because they made a lot of profit from the cotton. Moreover inventions like the steam boat came to ship the cotton. Unfortunately it also brought bad things. More slaves were needed to do all this work and a lot of slaves were treated very bad and sold like objects. Most of the slaves worked on these plantations and worked really hard. In the end we got mixed feelings about it and think that it brought good and bad things.

The south made only a lot of profit. But their were a lot of slaves needed to do all the work, the slaves who did all this work were treated like dirt. The south has did a lot of bad things, but it was normal in that time to let the slaves work for you. The south is certainly not become poor by doing this.

We think that the invention of the cotton gin made the south was very rich but it made not everyone very rich. the rest of the people didn't profit at all from it. they were not threated well and had to work every day and very long.

The invention of the cotton gin made a lot of profit them and some people became very rich with it, but those people weren't the slaves. The slaves did all the hard work and they got nothing. It changed the south to some rich people and a lot of poor people.

It was very good for the South, because it's so much cheaper to hire a slave than hire someone wo knows more about the cotton and the production of it. More people in the South thank that slaves are normal. Everyone who produce cotton has slaves. It's actually very good for the South, because they earn money!

There was development in technique. There was good money to be made to the cotton, where clothing was made of.

The invention of cotton really made a huge improvement in the market. A lot of people made a lot of money with that, and got rich with that.
